Every year, October 13th is observed as the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction. As a part of it, a mock held was held by the Fire and Rescue Operation Department officials in the District Collectorate. District Revenue Officer Ramadurai Murugan inaugurated the mock drill. Divisional officers Dhanalingam, Suresh, District Fire and Rescue Operations Officer Balasubramaniam, Personal Assistant (General) of District Collector Uma Maheshwari and others took part in the event
